Ignorance Is Bliss for Rap Star "Jeezy" ; Ready to "Sacrifice" for Obama

Jay Jenkins, aka Young Jeezy, who I assume is some kind of rapper, ventured into the political realm this week.

The rapper, who, according to Wikipedia, is the talent behind such classics as "Thuggin' Under the Influence," says we all have to be ready to contribute and assures us he has his "50 percent" ready.

What he neglects to mention (and probably doesn't understand) is that it generally won't be paid by people like him, who (evidently) has enough income to hire a team of accountants to structure and plan his income so as to minimize taxes.

The brunt of the burden of any tax increase will be paid by the small business owners who risk so much and maybe make $150,000 to $500,000 a year. These people make a nice living, and create most of the new jobs out there with that money, but they aren't making enough to hire the professional help that Young Jeezy and his crew likely have.

I think that if these super-rich people want to opine on taxes like that, they should be forced to hire H&R Block like the rest of us.
