Is Rahm Emmanuel the next chip to fall in the widening corruption investigation in Chicagoland? That's one of the rumors floating around right now. The stunned media is reeling and trying desperately to put a good face on the fact that a close associate of the president-elect was nabbed in the midst of a so-flagrant-as-to-be-comical crime spree.
The rumors are flying fast and fantastic. there is one theory that the Obama Administration was part of the sting. Another of the theories that the investigation was prematurely halted with the arrest to protect Obama. Yet another one (my favorite) is that Emmanuel will be indicted next, and that he is being watched for fuirther criminal activity, perhaps in the coverup.

That's how long the most transparent administration in American history lasted. 38 days after winning the general election, Barack Hussein Obama is already neck deep in a political scandal that threatens to expose him as (gasp!) a filthy Chicago machine politician. His Lieutenant Obammunist Rahm Emmanuel waits to see how the Feds interpret his reported six personal conversations with the now indicted Governor Blagojevich, and dirty Chicago poverty pimps are running up their electric bills this Christmas with paper shredders as well as the customary lights.
