Barack Hussein Obama has begun assembling his team as we all know. Luckily we have the mainstream media here in the US, so we are all aware of just how moderate all of his appointments are, despite what conclusions we may come to if we got there on our own.
First there is the matter of the questionnaire reported by World Net Daily earlier today. Apparently BHO is grilling his potential appointees on gun ownership. In a break from previous administrations and in a move that is sure to turn gun owners apoplectic with concern for the next four years, Obama is demanding "full disclosure" of all gun ownership, including chronological timelines to show uninterrupted registration.
“Barack Obama and his administration are showing their true colors and true philosophy with regard to the Second Amendment,” said Chris Cox, the NRA’s top political official. He continued,“It shows what we’ve been saying all along — this guy doesn’t view the Second Amendment as a fundamental constitutional right.”
Indeed, Mr. Cox.
First on the I-can't-believe-that-person-is-in-that-position hit parade, Gen. James Jones, Obama's soon-to-be National Security Advisor. Most of us know that as the position that Condoleeza Rice held some time before becoming Secretary of State. So suffice it to say, this is a position of considerable importance. No one is saying that Gen. Jones is an antisemite, but the differences between what he says about Israel and what an antisemite would say are not discernable by me. He is no fan of Israel.
Secondly would have to be Hillary Clinton. Obviously there the fact that she and the President-elect were locked in a death match for more than a year with each accusing the other of frankly disqualifying shortcomings. He, naive and inexperienced. She, racist. Now it also comes out that she may have constitutional problems with her appointment as a consequence of raising the Secretary of State's salary while a Senator. Oh, and the kicker? The death match between our new President and his chief foreign policy administrator? Foreign policy. You really can't make this stuff up, folks.
There are others too, with long-term far-left involvement. Mark Rudd and Thorne Dreyer to name two Chicago leftists. Mr. Dreyer's name sounds like someone you might meet at a country club, but he was called a terrorist yesterday by Pat Dollard, among others. I think it would be a mistake to underestimate the commitment of those around our new president to a radical socialist agenda.
Obambi demands an awful lot of disclosure from the people he hires, when he himself has disclosed nothing about himself. No long form birth certificate, no Harvard or Columbia records (rumors have it that he graduated last in his class at Harvard), forged Selective Service documents...
