Could Gulf Cleanup Chemicals Cause Poisonous Rain to Destroy the East Coast?

Since Obama's Minerals Management Service fastracked the Deepwater Horizon that's currently spewing oil into the Gulf, I guess that would make this Obama's death rain, were it to happen. I can't vouch for this for a couple of reasons. First, I'm not a meteorologist. And secondly, the website I sourced on this is all green and stuff, which means they bought Al Gore's global warming hoax, so they're apt to be pretty easily deceived. Adding to the credibility is the fact that you know these enviroboobs just hate to criticize their lord and savior Obama. They're earnestly, if gullibly, concerned about the environment and who knows if maybe this time they're right?
Toxic Oil Spill Rains Warned Could Destroy North America
A dire report prepared for President Medvedev by Russia’s Ministry of Natural Resources
is warning today that the British Petroleum (BP) oil and gas leak in the Gulf of Mexico is about to become the worst environmental catastrophe in all of human history threatening the entire eastern half of the North American continent with “total destruction”. Russian scientists are basing their apocalyptic destruction assessment due to BP’s use of millions of gallons of the chemical dispersal agent known as Corexit 9500
which is being pumped directly into the leak of this wellhead over a mile under the Gulf of Mexico waters and designed, this report says, to keep hidden from the American public the full, and tragic, extent of this leak that is now estimated to be over 2.9 million gallons a day . The dispersal agent Corexit 9500 is a solvent originally developed by Exxon and now manufactured by the Nalco Holding Company
of Naperville, Illinois that is four times more toxic than oil (oil is toxic at 11 ppm (parts per million), Corexit 9500 at only 2.61ppm). In a report written by Anita George-Ares and James R. Clark for Exxon Biomedical Sciences, Inc. titled “Acute Aquatic Toxicity of Three Corexit Products: An Overview ” Corexit 9500 was found to be one of the most toxic dispersal agents ever developed. Even worse, according to this report, with higher water temperatures, like those now occurring in the Gulf of Mexico, its toxicity grows. The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA
) in discovering BP’s use of this dangerous dispersal agent ordered BP to stop using it, but BP refused stating that their only alternative to Corexit 9500 was an even more dangerous dispersal agent known as Sea Brat 4 . The main differences between Corexit 9500 and Sea Brat 4 lie in how long these dangerous chemicals take to degrade into their constituent organic compounds, which for Corexit 9500 is 28 days. Sea Brat 4, on the other hand, degrades into an organic chemical called Nonylphenol that is toxic to aquatic life and can persist in the environment for years.
A greater danger involving Corexit 9500, and as outlined by Russian scientists in this report, is that with its 2.61ppm toxicity level, and when combined with the heating Gulf of Mexico waters, its molecules will be able to “phase transition”
from their present liquid to a gaseous state allowing them to be absorbed into clouds and allowing their release as “toxic rain” upon all of Eastern North America.
Even worse, should a Katrina like tropical hurricane form in the Gulf of Mexico while tens of millions of gallons of Corexit 9500 are sitting on, or near, its surface the resulting “toxic rain” falling upon the North American continent could “theoretically” destroy all microbial life to any depth it reaches resulting in an “unimaginable environmental catastrophe” destroying all life forms from the “bottom of the evolutionary chart to the top”.
Note: For molecules of a liquid to evaporate, they must be located near the surface, be moving in the proper direction, and have sufficient kinetic energy to overcome liquid-phase intermolecular forces. Only a small proportion of the molecules meet these criteria, so the rate of evaporation is limited. Since the kinetic energy of a molecule is proportional to its temperature, evaporation proceeds more quickly at higher temperatures.
As over 50 miles of the US State of Louisiana’s coastline has already been destroyed by this spill, American scientists are warning that the damage may be impossible to repair, and as we can read as reported by the Associated Press News Service:
“The gooey oil washing into the maze of marshes along the Gulf Coast could prove impossible to remove, leaving a toxic stew lethal to fish and wildlife, government officials and independent scientists said. Officials are considering some drastic and risky solutions: They could set the wetlands on fire or flood areas in hopes of floating out the oil. They warn an aggressive cleanup could ruin the marshes and do more harm than good.”
And to understand the full import of this catastrophe it must be remembered that this disaster is occurring in what is described as the “biologically richest waters in America”
with the greatest amount of oil and toxic Corexit 9500 set to come ashore in the coming days and weeks
to destroy it completely for decades to come. Reports are also coming from the United States that their government is secretly preparing to evacuate tens-of-millions of their citizens
from their Gulf of Mexico States should the most dire of these scientific warnings start to come true. To the greatest lesson to be learned by these Americans is that their government-oil industry cabal has been just as destructive to them as their government-banking one, both of which have done more to destroy the United States these past couple of years than any foreign enemy could dare dream was possible.
But to their greatest enemy the Americans need look no further than their nearest mirror as they are the ones who allowed these monsters to rule over them in the first place.

MSM Doing Obama's Cover-Up For Him

Despite the media's show of anger over Obama's MIShandling (UNhandling? NONhandling?) of the gulf oil spill, rest assured - they're still on the case, defending Obama by refusing to report the felonious corruption inside his White House. For Obama's part, who would expect any different from an ACORN-trained Alinskyite?

'Press Wouldn't Cover Sestak Story If Rahm Announced It On Pennsylvania Ave. In A Speedo'

Just how desperately does the MSM want to bury the Sestak job-bribe story? Yesterday we reported Time editor Rick Stengel's risibly feigned ignorance of the matter.

On Morning Joe today, Joe Scarborough broke off a colorful metaphor to describe the liberal media's see-no-evil approach to the subject, saying the MSM wouldn't cover the story "if Rahm Emanuel announced it in the middle of Pennsylvania Avenue wearing nothing but a Speedo."

Mika Brzezinski broached the subject by mentioning that she had gotten "hammered" by her husband and friends for her criticism of the MSM's failure to ask the tough questions on the matter.

MIKA BRZEZINSKI: I got hammered by some friends and my husband, saying this issue doesn't matter: let it go. Get off of it, Mika.

JOE SCARBOROUGH: Oh, so it doesn't matter. That's interesting: I wonder if your friends would have said the same thing if George W. Bush had made this offer?

BRZEZINSKI: That's what I asked.

SCARBOROUGH: And of course we know the answer . . . It is so laughable that people who attacked George Bush for eight years, now you have this Sestak thing, and by the way, another sad indictment on the press, that it took the Fox News guy [Major Garret] to even bring up Sestak at the press conference.

BRZEZINSKI: I said something yesterday that just everybody jumped on me --
...
SCARBOROUGH: They [the White House] are dumping it [the so-called "official" response on the subject] tonight before Memorial Day [as panel discussed earlier, a time-honored tactic to bury a bad story]. They don't need to though. Seriously, they could go out, Rahm Emanuel could go out in the middle of Pennsylvania Avenue wearing nothing but a Speedo and that very nautical dress [allusion to Mika's outfit] and the press wouldn't pick it up, because the press doesn't want to cover this story. They don't want to cover this story and they're not going to cover this story.

John Brennan - DHS Honcho Speaks Obama's Heart to Islam

Well now, this is revealing. It's also kind of nauseating, and infuriating. Obama's counterterrorism advisor - the Deputy National Security Advisor for Homeland Security, to be precise, John Brennan, is setting the bar pretty high for pandering to our wanna-be Islamic overlords. Here he is practicing his own form of Islam (literally SUBMISSION), laying down the law, Obama-style.

...and now he's gone on front of the Center for Strategic and International Studies and says that "jihadists aren't our enemy." Seriously. And do you want to guess why? Because he says jihad is a legitimate tenet of islam (did I forget to capitalize that? Sorry). Wanna take a guess at who "our enemies" really are? I'll give you a hint - look in the mirror.

No Islamists, No Jihad: New Obama National Security Strategy "Focuses" On Domestic Terror

President Obama's "new National Security strategy" will include a focus on terrorists at home. This presents a curious inconsistency that none other than John Brennan elucidates with a clarity that seems to escape himself and the rest of the administration.

"The president's national security strategy explicitly recognizes the threat to the United States posed by individuals radicalized here at home," said John Brennan, the National Security Council's counterterrorism and homeland security adviser, in a speech.
Mr. Brennan told an audience at the Center for Strategic and International Studies that "we have seen individuals, including U.S. citizens, armed with their U.S. passports, travel easily to extremist safe havens and return to America, their deadly plans disrupted by coordinated intelligence and law enforcement."

Mr. Brennan spoke on the eve of the release by the Obama administration of a new National Security Strategy report.

The new strategy, according to Mr. Brennan, will continue the George W. Bush administration strategy of seeking to distinguish al Qaeda terrorism from the religion of Islam. Mr. Brennan specifically said the Obama administration would no longer use the terms "Islamist" and "jihadist" "because jihad is holy struggle, a legitimate tenet of Islam, meaning to purify oneself or one's community."
The problem is, if you ask the enemy (and even if you don't), he will tell you without pause or reservation that he is an Islamist seeking to impose his will forcably upon the West and America, killing as many as possible in the process. This is his jihad. He will tell you that with pride as well.

Yet we shrink from his language of "jihad" and "Islamist" at our great peril. For if we confuse, cloud or fail to identify the enemy, as a society and as a government, we will ultimately fall to defeat.

Clarity is critical. Language is vital. The Obama administration is sacrificing both.

An administration that shrinks from the language of the enemy while confidently touting to law enforcement that they must be vigilant for "right wing extremists" within instills neither confidence nor comfort. It does, however, politicize National Security to a revolting, disturbing level.

And when the American public loses first clarity and then confidence, National Security is weakened. Immensely.

Americans wonder, after the Islamists' jihadi attacks in the air above Detoit, on the streets of Times Square, on base at Fort Hood and outside the recruiting station at Little Rock, what is served from avoiding and ignoring what inspires our murderous enemy, Islamism and jihad?

What the administration fails to understand in its marketing of its language is that Americans see their own questions as rhetorical, and the Obama administration's reluctant discussions on National Security as merely rhetoric.

Oil Gushing Again in Gulf? LIVE Images

Reports this morning that the oil spill had been plugged may be overly optimistic, if these live images from the Gulf are to be believed. I have an idea - and I think this could really work. The basic logic, as I understand this mud-fill idea, is to get something in the "damn hole" that's denser than water - that'll plug it up long enough to pour cement on and close it tight. So I started thinking about what would be REALLY SUPER dense that we could jam in the hole and leave there forever... and I thought maybe we should start with Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid, and then move on to the rest of the Congressional Democrats. What could possibly be denser? We'll either eventually plug it up, or we'll run out of liberals. Either way, America wins.
