196,000 of Your Tax Dollars at Work

This is from an art show in Berkeley. Wait. Here's the punch line-

Artist Scott Donahue of Emeryville, Calif., was paid $196,000 of taxpayer money from Berkeley's public arts program to sculpt these artistic medallions.

That's really reassuring. I was concerned that art like this might not make it to the market. Thinking of the fact that this work cost $196,000.... makes Obama's Trillion-Dollar Turd seem almost reasonable.
