Obama Says African-Americans Are More "Fundamentally American"

EC tries to make sense of Obama's perplexing, meandering statement to Anderson "The Poofer" Cooper.... was Obama saying African-Americans are MORE American? Was he saying that the country was founded by African-Americans? Was he dissing Asians, Latinos, Italians, and every other group that has made America their home over the last 200 years?
