Barbara Boxer: Soft Racist or Just Suffering from an Incredible Lack of Self-Awareness?

Barbara Boxer found herself on the recieving end of a righteous ass-kicking on the floor of the Senate when she tried to get bossy with Harry Alford, Chairman of the National Black Chamber of Commerce. After she determined that he wasn't on board with the administration's job-killing energy policies, she tried to (painfully and pedantically) help him understand that his role as a black man is to support the administration - even waving around position papers from black organizations that know their place- Alford rightly and righteously tore her up for her thinly-veiled bigotry and racist tones.
