Here's a short clip from the ABC story detailing the abuse of mental patients/students at a state-run facility in Texas. I find it infuriating to think of how scared and tormented the patients of this facility must have felt, with nowhere else to turn and no one to help them. It was only by a fluke that this story came to light at all. I also imagine that, if Obama is successful at shoving a single-payer healthcare system through, we all may feel like these terrified patients/inmates... with no recourse and completely at the mercy of our government overseers.
