Now that the Metrodome roof has collapsed, the Minnesota Vikings are in a bit of a rut. In fact. owner Zygi Wilf has already started presenting the idea of an open-air stadium replacing the Metrodome.
The thoughts circulating are that the team would play the 2011 season at TCF Bank Stadium at the University of Minnesota which is where they played the Chicago Bears last week.
According to reports, Wilf will make a decision after reviewing the commission's findings.
Note last week Bill Lester, executive director of the Metropolitan Sports Facilities Commission, explained that they have not figured out how long or how expensive it would be to repair the stadium. However, he seemed firm in his claim that the stadium would be ready for 2011.
Be sure to keep a close eye on this story as it'll be interesting to see how it all plays out.
