The intellectual dishonesty of failing to differentiate between macro-evolution, which is when a new species mutates from an existing species (has never been observed) and micro-evolution (what we used to call adaptation and happens all the time). 3. Darwinists say mutations bring new species and improved functionality, but every mutation ever recorded seems to do exactly the opposite. Mutations are never good.
I'm not even going to comment on Darwin's racism and how his little tome has been used to justify mass murder and genocide repeatedly. Oh crap. Maybe I just did.
The unemployment rate is advertised at a concerning 10.2%, but more honest assessments are pegging the number at closer to 17.5%. What the media isn't telling you is that the unemployment rate for young black Americans is closer to a shocking 35%. It seems that destroying the black middle class is one war Obama is totally OK with.

Obama and his merry band of hangers-on, led by the US Army and General Casey, continue to hem and haw about the Ft Hood attacks and simply refuse to call it terrorism, but any reasonable look at the pre-slaughter work of psychia-terrorist Major Nidal Hasan shows us what he really is. The amazing thing is that he was so public and obvious about it... and that 13 soldiers are dead because of the US Army's fear of offending a Muslim.

Here's Al Gore at it again, making insane claims on the Conan O'Brien show the other night. The Earth's interior is several MILLION DEGREES, Al? Seriously? I mean, who knows if geothermal energy makes any sense to pursue, but its credibility gets undermined when Earth-worshiping nutbags like Al Gore just make up huge numbers as they go along. The fact is that the inside of the Earth never gets more than several THOUSAND degrees celsius. How stupid do you have to be to believe that we can live only "several kilometers" from a core that is "several million degrees" hot? Is it more disturbing that one of the environmental "elites" like Al Gore goes around believeing and spouting such nonsense unchalleneged... or that so many people believe him?
The geothermal gradient is usually quoted as 25–50 degrees Celsius per mile of depth in normal terrain (not, e.g., in the crater of Kilauea). Two kilometers down, therefore, (that's a mile and a quarter if you're not as science-y as Al) you'll have an average gain of 30–60 degrees — exploitable for things like home heating, though not hot enough to make a nice pot of tea. Even the government-controlled media has had to take note of the wildly inaccurate numbers on the government's recovery.gov web site, and the stunning incompetence of listing tens of millions of dollars of stimulus as being spent in congressional districts that do not exist. Even Democrats are calling it sloppy and unacceptable. I'd suggest that it's worse than that, even. It's a small window into what Obama thinks of you. He holds those who distrust him and his policies in utter contempt and he doesn't feel accountable to those people at all. But possibly his greatest contempt is reserved for those people who did vote for him and support him- if this fiasco is any indicator, he thinks his supporters and worshippers are just morons.
He may be an utter failure as a President; a hollow, arrogant, petty, vindictive, malicious, poorly-behaved and ill-spoken, embarassing empty suit of a man, but he's also the world's greatest gun salesman. The UK papers are reporting that sales have nearly tripled for Smith and Wesson, and that the rest of the industry is sharing similar growth. The UK papers say it's because Americans are concerned about growing crime(?), the economy, and terrorism. The real truth is that Americans are buying weapons at a record pace to protect themselves from the government and Mr. Obama.
We all remember when Obama nauseated freedom-loving Americans with his groveling bow before the King of Saudi Arabia. Apparently his inability to stand upright in front of a royal extends to Japan's Emperor, too, as the LA Times reports in this disheartening photo. For 200 years, our elected Presidents proudly stood before the heads of state the world over, even those who claimed divinity. We were over all that divine-right-of-kings nonsense. Or so we thought.
Strange that he doesn't engage in this kind of obsequious groveling to the Queen of England.

This photo will get Democrat President Obama a lot of approving nods in Japan this weekend, especially among the older generation of Japanese who still pay attention to the royal family living in its downtown castle. Very low bows like this are a sign of great respect and deference to a superior.
To some in the United States, however, an upright handshake might have looked better. (See Cheney-Akihito photo, right).
Remember Michelle Obama casually patting Britain's Queen Elizabeth on the back during their Buckingham Palace visit? America's royalty tends to make movies and get bad reviews and lots of money as a sign of respect.

Back in 1994 when President Bill Clinton appeared to maybe perhaps almost start to bow to Akihito at a White House encounter, U.S. officials rushed to deny it was any such a thing. And the N.Y. Times chronicled the comedic drama here.
Akihito, who turns 76 next month, is the eldest son and fifth child of Emperor Showa, the name given to an emperor and his reign after his death.
Emperor Showa is better known abroad by the life name of Hirohito. He became emperor in 1925 and died in 1989, the longest historically-known rule of the nation's 125 emperors.
Hirohito presided over his nation's growth from an undeveloped agrarian economy into the expansionist military power and ally of Nazi Germany of the 1930's.
And, later, Japan became a global economic giant. Hirohito, along with Prime Minister Hideki Tojo, who authorized the 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor, were much reviled abroad during World War II.

Akihito was born during Japan's conquering of China and was evacuated during the devastating American fire-bombing of Tokyo, which was built largely of wood in those days.
The future emperor learned English during the U.S. occupation, but, inexplicably, his father ordered that his oldest boy not receive an Army commission as previous imperial heirs always had.
Akihito assumed the throne on Jan. 7, 1989. Within weeks he began a series of formal expressions of remorse to Asian countries for Japan's actions during his father's reign. In 2003, he underwent surgery for prostate cancer.
In 1959, Akihito married Michiko Shoda, the first commoner allowed to enter the Japanese royal family. That was two years before the birth of Akihito's future presidential guest, Barack Obama.

Major Nidal Hasan, A radical Islamic, Palestinian, anti-war Obama supporter, shouting "Allahu Akbar" opened fire on his fellow unarmed soldiers preparing for deployment, and there seem to be more questions than answers. When Islamopsycho Maj Nidal Hasan jumped on a table and shouted "Allahu Akbar!!" (I'm not sure, but I think that's Arabic for "I'm going to kill you!") and opened fire on his unarmed comrades, all it took to stop the bloodbath was one petite woman, properly armed. In the wake of yesterday's mass murder/terror attack at Ft Hood, speculation continues as to the motive, given the government's unwillingness to classify the act as terror related. While it seems obvious that terror was the plan, and that the terror was based on Islamic religious beliefs, it's also possible that there was another, entirely unrelated cause - this may be the first ever incident of terrorism associated with disappointment in Obama's broken campaign promises.
Yesterday President Obama shocked many people with his light-hearted attempt at humor and "shout-outs" in remarks made directly after the Ft. Hood terrorist attack. The callous disconnect with other people's suffering shouldn't surprise anyone who's been watching him - date nights in NYC, an endless stream of grand parties at the White House, and attacks on small business, all during a deep recession. This is the "compassion" of a liberal in action. Don't kid yourself. This man has nothing but contempt for us all.
President Obama didn't wait long after Tuesday's devastating elections to give critics another reason to question his leadership, but this time the subject matter was more grim than a pair of governorships.
After news broke out of the shooting at the Fort Hood Army post in Texas, the nation watched in horror as the toll of dead and injured climbed. The White House was notified immediately and by late afternoon, word went out that the president would speak about the incident prior to a previously scheduled appearance. At about 5 p.m., cable stations went to the president. The situation called for not only his trademark eloquence, but also grace and perspective.
But instead of a somber chief executive offering reassuring words and expressions of sympathy and compassion, viewers saw a wildly disconnected and inappropriately light president making introductory remarks. At the event, a Tribal Nations Conference hosted by the Department of Interior's Bureau of Indian affairs, the president thanked various staffers and offered a "shout-out" to "Dr. Joe Medicine Crow -- that Congressional Medal of Honor winner." Three minutes in, the president spoke about the shooting, in measured and appropriate terms. Who is advising him?
Anyone at home aware of the major news story of the previous hours had to have been stunned. An incident like this requires a scrapping of the early light banter. The president should apologize for the tone of his remarks, explain what has happened, express sympathy for those slain and appeal for calm and patience until all the facts are in. That's the least that should occur.
Indeed, an argument could be made that Obama should have canceled the Indian event, out of respect for people having been murdered at an Army post a few hours before. That would have prevented any sort of jarring emotional switch at the event.
Did the president's team not realize what sort of image they were presenting to the country at this moment? The disconnect between what Americans at home knew had been going on -- and the initial words coming out of their president's mouth was jolting, if not disturbing.
It must have been disappointing for many politically aware Democrats, still reeling from the election two days before. The New Jersey gubernatorial vote had already demonstrated that the president and his political team couldn't produce a winning outcome in a state very friendly to Democrats (and where the president won by 15 points one year ago). And now this? Congressional Democrats must wonder if a White House that has burdened them with a too-heavy policy agenda over the last year has a strong enough political operation to help push that agenda through.
If the president's communications apparatus can't inform -- and protect -- their boss during tense moments when the country needs to see a focused commander-in-chief and a compassionate head of state, it has disastrous consequences for that president's party and supporters.
All the president's men (and women) fell down on the job Thursday. And Democrats across the country have real reason to panic.

Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX) yesterday made some troubling comments about his bill, HR 1207, to audit the Fed. According to Paul, the bill, despite having more than 300 sponsors in the House, was eviscerated in committee, and maintains Fed secrecy on all important avenues if investigation. It stands to figure that what's good for the Fed is bad for you and me; slavery is no longer characterized by chains More.. and confinement and skin color- nowadays slavery is accomplished more with taxation, money manipulation, and debt.
Al Gore stands to make hundreds of millions of dollars in "green" technology, and I don't begrudge him success. Capitalism works when you provide a needed product or service to the market. The problem is that Al Gore's success isn't coming from needed products or services, but rather from his political connection, as he connives, cajoles, and schemes to have his buddies in the government force us to use Al Gore-approved solutions to non-existent problems. That's not capitalism, it's shameless profiteering, and hypocritical to boot. I wonder if all those lefty enviromentalists who decry any opposition to their agenda as "oil-company shills" will notice just how much Al Gore stands to profit from their sheep-like support?
